Three Prophetic Pictures of Where We Are

A note before we begin: the following prophetic pictures are from the Old Testament. In that case, the enemies that were faced by Israel were very physical armies. Today we are in a spiritual battle. Our warfare is not against flesh and blood. For these prophetic pictures, the physical armies represent this spiritual enemy. The people that you see are puppets being used by the enemy. Pray that they Repent.

There are other prophetic pictures that could be painted. These are the three that I have been given for now: the Red Sea, Gideon and Midianites, and David and Goliath. These are given in my words, so without quotes.

The Red Sea:

The children of Israel had left Egypt along a specific route. They found themselves boxed in by the hills, the Red Sea, and Pharaoh’s Army. They were in a situation where only God could save them. If God didn’t act, there would have been a great deal of horror and bloodshed. The fledgling nation would have been destroyed and the people (who survived) dragged back into slavery.

Then suddenly … God showed up. He stood between the people and Pharaoh’s Army, and overnight created a path through the Red Sea. This setup was not just to save the people, but also to destroy Pharaoh’s Army and bring great glory to God’s name among the Nations. When the crossing was completed, Pharaoh’s Army was destroyed, the people were saved, and their freedom was guaranteed.

We are in a similar situation in our Nation. We seem to be backed into a corner and a great deal of bloodshed seems to be coming. However, Moses (the Ekklesia) has already prayed to God and held his rod over the Red Sea. The Pillar of Fire, which is already in place, is about to become Visible to the great chagrin of the enemy. The dry path through the Red Sea is about to be opened up overnight. God’s name is about to be Glorified among the Nations. The spiritual enemy that is trying to destroy us is about to be destroyed, our people are about to be saved, and our freedom is about to be guaranteed.

Gideon and the Midianites:

God raised Gideon up to deliver Israel from the Midianites. Gideon called for volunteers, but only a remnant was chosen. This small number stood upon the hills surrounding the Midianites and blew their trumpets and shattered the pots that covered their torches and they yelled, “A sword for Yahweh and for Gideon!”

The enemy awoke in confusion and terror. In their confusion and terror, they fought each other and fled.

The Ekklesia, the Remnant has stood upon the Hills surrounding the enemy opposing us. We have blown our Trumpets, we have caused our Lights to Shine, and we have Decreed that this Nation belongs to Yahweh! Confusion and terror are about to come upon the enemy and they are about to destroy themselves and flee.

David and Goliath:

The Philistines had risen against Israel in a particular place, and their dread champion Goliath would daily challenge the army of Israel. Israel’s army was terrified of Goliath, who was a giant. After all, anyone who stood up to this giant would be killed!

Then David visited the army. He heard the taunts of Goliath and he was filled with a righteous anger.

David faced Goliath with seemingly paltry weapons. David struck Goliath in the head with a stone from his sling. Then, Goliath’s own sword was used to cut off his head. This demoralized the Philistines and they fled. The giant’s weapon that was supposed to destroy Israel was turned upon the enemy.

The Ekklesia has accepted the call to Battle. The enemy’s dread champion is about to be defeated publicly and the enemy army is about to flee. The giant’s weapon is about to be turned upon the giant. The stone is in the air and the death blow will soon be struck
